To cultivate a new generation of actors devoted to the works of William Shakespeare
OPEN AIR SHAKESPEARE
is offering
a FREE
"Shakespeare Acting Workshop for CHILDREN"
(for ages 7 to 17 years old)
July 6th
13:00 to 15:00
At the Botanical Garden of Lisbon Amphitheater
(admission to the botanical garden is still required but the 2 hour workshop is FREE.
The workshop focus:
- An introduction to various Shakespeare plays with a summary of storylines.
- How to better understand and the wording and appreciating the poetry.
- Basic acting skills for the STAGE will be introduced.
- How to perform a Shakespeare monologue (soliloquy) with confidently.
