Open Air Shakespeare Presents
"POPUP Shakespeare"
What is it?
A small company of actors will perform scenes from various Shakespeare plays 
on  Streets, in Parks on Boardwalks.
It is classic STREET THEATRE
Coming from out of the crowd without announcement ACTORS will PERFORM spontaneously 
and surprise the PUBLIC with a FREE - 5 to 15 minute performance!!! 
It's great fun and it is great training for the actors.
The GOAL is to spark the public's interest into wanting more Shakespeare
and that's our mission at OPEN AIR SHAKESPEARE

Actor Audition Form

Now accepting ONE to TWO minute long audition self-tapes submitted via YouTube or Vimeo LINK ONLY. Pick any Shakespearian monologue that best highlights your talents. 

Lisbon street theatre performances June/July -- New York street performances August/September. The exact performance dates for Popup Shakespeare performances will be based on CAST MEMBERS and the director's availability.
